Known for its unmatched durability and resistance to abrasions, tears, and scuffs.  1000D CORDURA® is up to 2.5 times stronger than 420D, making it uncompromisingly durable for the exterior of Woven Granite gear.

QUALITY YKK ZIPPERS WITH REVERSE COIL TRACK

 

All Woven Granite’s gear incorporate the highest quality YKK zippers for durability and smooth operation. 

In the reverse orientation the coil is concealed and just a small gap is visible where the two sides of the zipper meet, providing a smooth, clean appearance and offers added protection from sand and dirt getting into the coil.

HYPALON ZIPPER GARAGES & PULLS

Hypalon, used extensively in Navy SEALs Zodiac RIBs (Rigid Inflatable Boats) for amphibious assaults and incursions.  This material is formed with a layer of synthetic fibers threaded in a matrix and sandwiched between a rubber coating flexible polymer.

Woven Granite utilizes Hypalon for its durability, strength, and tactile feel to our pulls, protective zipper garages and strategic gear loops.

ADDITIONAL STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS

Taking our material construction up a notch or two, we embedded Atilon foam, EPE foam, and PE sheets in between many of our panels to provide additional structure, cushioning and rigidity – to ensure our gear always maintains its shape.

Atilon is a chemically cross-linked foam that offers superior mechanical and physical properties allowing you better build products that require low water absorption, thermal and chemical insulation, shock absorption, buoyancy, and cushioning

G HOOKS, MOLLE COMPATIBLE WEBBING & GEAR LOOPS

Woven Granite implements the strongest fasteners and connection points for our straps and handles as well as to attach more accessory gear directly to our Gear Packs.
